Symptoms of Sepsis
There are various symptoms of sepsis that
can range depending on the individual with the condition.
Symptoms of sepsis can be extremely difficult to cope with because
of the discomfort. When elders in nursing homes develop bed sores,
largely because of nursing home abuse neglect, they will sometimes
develop symptoms of sepsis. Due to decreased immunity and other
health complications they may be suffering, symptoms of sepsis can
be a much harder battle to overcome.
Common symptoms of sepsis include fever, shaking,
skin rash, rapid heartbeat, delirium, chills, hyperventilation,
as well as other effects. Symptoms of sepsis can be treated using
antibiotics, oxygen, fluids, as well as other methods. Unfortunately,
there have not yet been treatments for symptoms of sepsis with the
ability to decrease the fatalities associated to the condition.
Sepsis occurs on a very large scale, affecting hundreds of thousands
of Americans every year.
