He has attended seminars and received advanced training in Nursing Home Litigation in Miami, San Antonio, Seattle, Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale. He has the respect of experts in the field who deal with Nursing Home Abuse issues on a regular basis.

Mr. Dretke has been selected to serve on the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and has been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is one of only five lawyers in Oregon to be certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

W. Eugene Hallman has practiced law in Oregon since 1974. While an accomplished litigator, he also practices before the Oregon Supreme Court, the Oregon Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Hallman has handled over 150 appeals. That practice, together with his litigation experience, provides the depth of legal expertise needed in these complex cases. Mr Hallman has represented the elderly and their families both at the trial court level and before the Court of Appeals.

Mr. Hallman is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization whose membership is limited to the top 1% of lawyers in a state. He has been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
