The family of a woman, who recently died after being cared for at a nursing home, is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against her caretakers.
Family United and Taking Action
The husband of Cynthia Hill, William, and their two sons are filing the suit against ManorCare Health Care Services for their tremendous loss.
Cynthia, who was only 53 at the time of her death, suffered from a hip fracture and a wound on her left arm in 2005.
She was reportedly treated at St. John's hospital before being transferred to ManorCare for rehabilitation.
Negligent Care
According to the claim, Cynthia had an ulcer on her back that increased in size and became infected while she was at ManorCare.
She passed away a few months after being released and transferred back to St. John's.
The claim names ManorCare, St. John's Regional Health Center, St. John's Clinic and Dr. Raj Purushothaman.
In the petition filed by the Hill's attorney, John Wooddell, the defendants are accused of negligent care.
